Well technically to play ISOs, you need to be able to install a Custom Firmware on the system. And currently that's not possible on the PSP N1000 (Go)... Another reason to stick to the 3000 :-P

@5aFt Probably a PSP Go if you dont want tons of UMDs to carry around. You should get a 3000 if you're willing to cope with the UMD thing but you want tons of games. I'm getting a PSP Go, but I already have a PSP 3000 so... But yeah probably a Go.

@djnajib13579 but the PSP go has 16 gigs built in instead of having to buy a Memory Stick Pro that only has 4 gigs for $30. And if you want 16 gigs on a PSP 3000, you will have to buy 4 Memory Sticks for about $120. So the PSP go is a better deal than the PSP 3000.

Yeah right, as if the forst thing that pops into your head when you want to buy a new video game is "will this hurt the environment?" And besides, if you like Digital Downloads so much (it's perfectly valid and completely alright to do so) the 3000 also allows access to the Playstation Store. All the PSP Go does is get rid of that choice. It also has the same Wi-Fi hardware, so the downloads won't be any faster either.

Drop a PSP Go from a certain height for sure it'll mess up the slider mechanism.

The Go is a very delicate handheld its not as sturdy as the x000 series.

Yes you can use downloadable content for the 2000 and 3000, but there are big changes, the internet is faster, UMD is gone, which decreases size, and it's so much easier to carry around.

Store has existed for years, it's only now they will really push it. Existing PSPs have been able to download PSP games for years now.

PSP Go will be copying. Both will download & play the same PSP games, and UMD will still be sold (along with the current unit that plays UMD too). PSP Go is not a replacement for it.

yeah, if they dont do it. its a sign of laziness because its not that hard. all they would have to do is make a way for the UMD's to be read and then transferred onto a computer or straight to the psp go. they could also make an update where you can just send the game via ad hoc to your psp go. so its not that hard.

Think about if you use all the internal memory on the psp go, then you have to start storing your ganes and movies on a externel memoroy wich will cost you another 20-30 bucks depends how much you wanna spend then you have to buy the game for maybe another 20-30 bucks just for 1 game thats gonna be alot of money if you intend on buying alot of games. My advice stick with umd's its just another way of sony making more money out of its custumers, thanks

20-30 bucks is a normal game on a umd disk.

A downloaded version of it is cheaper.

For example, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 for psp is 24.99 for psp on a umd. On the playstation store, is 19.99 . See that price difference.
