im 16 years old. when i turn 18 i want to apply for citizenship right away. i've been suspended from my school like 3 times. would that prevent me from not getting my citizenship?
I was born in London, and live in South England. We're moving to America in the next year. Fortunately, my family is American so I automatically have citizenship. Thank god. No silly tests :)
@solidsnake1211 I'm afraid not, your gonna still have to apply..your family is American but your are not..Google (M-476 Guide to Naturalization) and read the requirements

Washington to way past U.S. Grant were state Citizens.... Sovereign Citizens. Article 1, Section 8, Clause 17 of the Constitution (read it) and figure out the FRAUD being committed upon us all. Read Article 1, Section 8, Clause 4 and what Congress MUST do: make UNIFORM the laws of naturalization... Today a "US" citizen is a [14th Amendment] subject class citizen and not a sovereign state Citizen... FRAUD. We live under the 'color of law'... Research state Citizenship and learn about the fraud.
thanks for this video im really wanting to live in the states so im getting my passport than gonna try to get a student visa once i've gotten the education level i need im gonna try to apply to the US army
The process of being a citizen is not confusing. The lawyers want you to think it's confusing so that they can rip you off your hard earn money. Bunch of thieves.
@MissLadyboy007 UR 2 centuries late. Brits founded America. We're more than 1/3 richer than europeans. GB is not part of Europe. U've always been better than eurotrash & have led them in tech and political freedom. Racism's not unique. We've had multi-culturalism >100yrs longer. Riots in Manchester, Paris and Malmo, Sweden exhibit euro "racism". US fares better & assimilates more effectively. A leftist like you can't accept Communism failed. U rpbly cant wait to sell GB's sovereignty to the EU.
Why would I want to become an American citizen? This series of videos typifies the arrogant mindset of most Americans that living and working in America is the dream of people everywhere.
@MissLadyboy007 This video does not assume that US citizenship is the dream of everyone, but rather that it is desired by some people and that those individuals could use some guidance on the relevant law and procedure.
There are many sources of information for those planning to apply for British citizenship. Do you regard this as a demand that all people become British, or a resource for those who may find it useful?
@MissLadyboy007 Arrogant mindset? More people sneak across American borders and overstay their visas in the US by far than anywhere else. Even eurotrash from the lazy PIIGS economies (port, ital, irel, greece, spain) come here illegally and overstay. GB is not part of europe. Brits and where they moved (USA, Can, Aus, NZ, SAfr) industrialized a century before most of euro. The ambitious and talented of your nat already moved here in doves. The lazy lefties stayed behind to milk the dole.
my mom dropped out of 8th grade in taiwan and got her american citizenship so i'm sure an educated brit will easily attain it unless youre broke,or a terrorist, or last but not least a broke ass terrorsits
probably the wrong place to ask this but what does she mean you must have lived in the u.s for 4 years dont you have to be a citizen to live in the u.s its a kind of loop
can someone please explain what she means and also would i be able to join the nypd?
There are instances where a immigrant citizen can gain permanent residency, as long as they stay in the US for 4 yrs, not leave, commit any crimes etc.
Like someone who married to an American could get a divorce, but still keep citizenship. hard to explain
SONYFANBOY3000 hey man what make you AMERICAN IS NOT APPLIED TO LIVE IN THE USA WHAT MAKES YOU AMERICAN IS LIVING IN THE CONTINENT OF AMERICA......when are ppl going to understand that AMERICA IS NOT THE NAME OF THE USA.......AMERICA IS NOT A COUNTRY BUT A CONTINENT get it right ppl...USA NOT AMERICA......
yooo man , im in the same boat as you ive jus turned 18 and i wanna start getting ready to move to america myself , get out da UK and move to follow the american dream! LOL but yeeh we can get dual citizenship what is really good :)
@SONYFANBOY3000 MOVE TO WASHINGTON STATE WA, USA Its cheap, its got amazing woods Its next to the border of Canada, its next to the Ocean, Did i mention its cheap? Its affected by the recession less than most states, only problem a person might have is that theres an ass load of mexicans, but if you dont mind mexicans its great and Mexicans aren't that bad. Dont let them fool you though they take the good jobs too, and California is a 2-3 day drive away
someone from England could easily come to the US. The main thing someone would need is an good American address to give the immigration people once you get off the plane.
They'll focus on why you are coming to the US & they will definitely check your story out thoroughly. If you have to, just make friends with an American online & go from there
@SONYFANBOY3000 America was formed by British people who demanded their right as free-born Englishmen. There have been Brits who've become American military officers. As far as the 5 WASP countries go (GB, USA, Can, Australia, NZ) -- all are very close allies in terms of legal and financial systems, military and intelligence relationships go. States in the Rockies and west of them are awesome for outdoors, esp Alaska. Alaska can get dreary though. Americans love Brits and Aussies.
@SONYFANBOY3000 Awesome!! I hope you move here, we need more Brits!! You would like New England probably. (New England is the collective term for the states of MA, NH, RI, ME, CT, and VT.) Or maybe mid-Atlantic area such as Maryland/Pennsylvania/West Virginia, etc. You'll be a British-American, so you'll become both American and British. Anyway, hopefully you do come here - it's lovely! Good luck!
The US immigration system is very complicated and time consuming. i applied for australia and it will only take 3 years or 4 to become a citizen. when i apply for the australian permanent residncy i will receive approval in 12 months.....
You have to live in the country before applying for citizenship?? But what about all those Ellis Island immigrants? I thought they rode to the US on us-gov't chartered boats to get to the naturalization people specifically FOR citizenship???
