Jay-Z has swagger. It's more classically defined as "syncopation". It's a hallmark of many great hip hop artists, and it makes them NOTORIOUSLY difficult to remix. It's why you don't see a flood of good remixes of Jay-Z's songs, and it's also why you don't see many artists who can easily replicate his style.

You have a great idea, but to make it really stand out, you'll need to master the style for yourself. Keep at it!

I think Jay-Z honestly scientifically created a set of lyrics that magically is a universal rhythm. It sounds appropriate with EVERYTHING, this, the Beatles, the chili peppers, hell even a remix of a remix (Opposite of Adults) Either way I think its interesting how easy it it to listen to.
