basically it's CS:S running on CS 1.6's engine.

It's oldschool but looking better, we will still have our great headshot jump back animation too.

You just stated like three things different about the game and then went on to say that only one thing was different. Second of all, the graphics arent the only thing different, the Source engine is completely fucked up when it coms to FPS's sucks as CS. The hitboxes are terrible, recoil is non existent, CSS is for noobs. End of discussion.

I think blaming people because their taste in games is far from intelligent human behaviour. For example in 1.6/cz i like the recoil, but the lack of physics, the huge grenades and the very few good skins make me not play as often as CSS or OFP.

I mostly agree with you, but the graphics is depending on the maps, models and textures. For example the default weapons are lowpoly mirrored, they are using lowres textures, they look like they were toys. Now look at fpsbanana for example, those are weapons. And for maps look at cs_classified or de_forest.

... yeah some of us played before 1.6/Steam came out. Imo Source is fail. But CSPro is made from a Source engine. So this really is source with some modifications, and different textures. However this is all I know on the subject. Did they ever fix the hit boxes in source?
