  • I have a 30 yr old series 3 land rover, and yes it probably would be bested by a fresh off the line japanese mass produced pick up off road, but where will your hilux and your L200 be 30 years from now? saying an L200 is better than a series land rover is like saying dizzee rascal is cooler than mick jagger

  • i like the fact that the car remained sideways from the start of the video...lol

  • defenders are shit. hilux are very agile. nissan gq patrol eats all.

  • @goobs52 are you mental land rovers are kings of off road nissans are shit i have one!

  • @goobs52 yeah but my 20 year old Defender will still be going up hill and down dale long after your Japbox has been scrapped, recycled, turned into beer cans, drunk out of, and jubilee clipped over a hole in my exhaust. And I don't have to tell people I own a Datsun.

  • dudes proly thinking.......Oh shit im stuck...haha :D

  • Turn the wheel to the right lol

  • I've did the same with my TLC J7. I hate drying seats.

  • Its not what you got its how you drive it

  • i wanna gio through a puddlw!!!!!!!!!!

  • Это называется - довыёживался.

  • aka NOT driving through a very deep mudhole

  • ohhh i see someone needs to buy a ford....

  • driving into water at that angle would have my underpants filling up!

  • WOOW

  • fun vid! that looks like the point when a diff lock would of come in very handy!

  • Why is it called driving through a deep mud puddle ? I see some driving but no through !! LOL !!

  • for some reson i seem to think the exaust is a offside exit as standard,.. the idea u dont blow shit on the people on the pavement as u go past, sure i heard it sumwhere mite be wrong i dont know but im sure i will get corrected if i am lol

  • @123crazytom Mine's an offisde exit-not sure if it's standard or if it was a previous owner.

  • No it wouldn't. It's always blowing exhausts out, so no water can go in.

  • leaf springs man, always kill you at that kind of angle, sold my 3 and went for a 90, much more capable off road

  • You can get Parabolic (sorry about any spelling mistakes), which are modern leafers, or you could probably find a way of fitting springs-no idea how, though.

  • @ilikecookies3279 The easiest way is to fit your 'old' body onto a second hand coil spring chassis which has been shortened to suit the body. This seems to be very common in England, despite being illegal as the vehicle identity lies in the chassis and not the body. We can have free road tax with a pre 1973 vehicle, but that means leaf springs, so some people fit a later coil spring chassis to get better axle articulation but keep the free road tax. Parabolic springs work well and are legal.

  • drowned it!!!!!!! lol. that sux

  • did it survive or did it die?

  • survived, check out my other videos

  • You've got to take into account that the land rover is around twenty years old if not older if it's a series 3. A 2007 Defender would wipe the floor with a Toyota Hilux.

  • @ilikecookies3279 yeah , not sure about a hilux but yeah they don't have diff locks which is a problem. and the 2007 onwards defenders are meant for posh people, the pre 05 ones are better for offroad

  • @fergfergferg123 i wouldn't say 07 onwards are for posh people their just newer, Ford wanted them to be more refined and smoother on road which i think is stupid, if you want a go anywhere landy that wont make you deaf at 70mph then get a disco or rangie.

  • @TheYorkie95 My series only does 60

  • @fergfergferg123 yeah i thought 70 was too high when i remembered my old Disco 1 only just does 70!

  • @TheYorkie95 downhill with the wind and on person , with a quarter of a tank :)

  • @fergfergferg123 not quite right there mate. I drive an 08 Defender 130, which gets daily beating for 120 000 km now, and it just keeps on going stronger.

  • @Ramon25D cant imagine that offroading lol 90 or 100 (sweedish army defender) for off the road!!

  • Do u use 1st low anyothertime than rock crawling and decending steep slopes.

  • u need a snorkal

  • @surfsup1552 and/or a winch

  • Oh right.

    Snorkel time!

  • You shouldn't go on a side slope like that anyway should you?

  • He was keeping the air filter up!!

  • u should get a snorkal!

  • @Her90 if it had a soft bottom though he coulda went balls out with it floorboarded the airfilter would be fine

  • i wouldn't say you got THROUGH the mud...

  • 0.55 feeling of regret sinks in

  • yep he botteld it wen it got a bit side ways

  • way to go dude!!!!!!!

  • Nicely done!! got out alright i hope!!

  • ha ha THATS A GD ONE MORE SPEED DUDE

  • OMG!!
