In addition to the musical horn, the ship also has a regulation ship whistle that Disney sounds in case of a ship-wide emergency that you can't hear...but the Mickey Horn rocks. Disney ships always win in a horn battle with any other cruise line because nobody else has a musical ship whistle!

Disney had the second horn (not the first one sounding), its sound travels farther on open water because it has a higher pitch, and the special horn is just awesome. DCL > RCCL

every ship's horn says something about it. Disney's horns are a bit on the lighter side and more light hearted while RCCL's ship's horns a deep and intimidating, especially the Freedom's. great vid, definitely a new fav of mine!
