You already have all the sounds you need with the fantom. Try playing with the reverb settings. It will make a world of difference in the sound.

The Roland Fantom runs about that much, but shop around is the only advice I can give you. Try to go for used keyboards and floor models. Try to cut deals with the sellers if possible. I was able to buy my fantom for 1500 including a heavy duty keyboard stand ($70). The original price was at least $2300. Also, I would recommend the 88 key if you are not gigging with it :) (really heavy though)

No, I am not a composer for films :), I am only 18 right now. I do love the genre of film scores though. I grew up listening to John Williams and remember being amazed at how a simple melody or line could make you feel so many emotions. I just love music.

It is the older fantom but I went and converted all the sounds from the fantom X to the S-88
