I am poor and have nothing to offer you, but I`d like to meet you''. I denied only because apparently he was a Muslim, and I am orthodox Christian - impossible. But 14 years later I still remember him.

@pilarina85 Yes, it is a romantic movie. And it has great characters in it. Usta and lady Ashley are fantastic, and also... well practically everybody.
I also know Harem because of my mother, and my grandmother who video taped it ages ago.
The dvd is quite hard to find. I bought my copy on amazon.co.uk
The german dub is on youtube. I don't know if the movie can be found on some other site. I hope you'll get to se it soon. :)
Wonderful film! I still have a VHS copy and still enjoy watching it! Sometimes twice in a row! VERY ROMANTIC!! <3 <3 <3

The thing is, this is just the western fantasy of the harem - it is far removed from the reality. Its a beautiful video though.

Art Malik is so handsome and a great actor. It's such a shame Hollywood seems to only have villain and terrorist roles for him these days :(
