I have to say that I am pumped to see the movie. I'm just hoping that they don't have to tone down the violent action for the readers because the book can be for a younger audience because you cant really see a chick being stung to death by mutant bee's so much that she bursts, but once thats on film it becomes for the adults only because in this overly politacally correct world nobody wants to let their kids watch that. Most adults havn't heard about the hunger games and kids wont see the movie

@TheSurvival15 If you really want to conserve it for years and years to come hardcover is what you should get. I have the hunger games as paperback and is already in a horrible condition after 5 months! I have Catching fire & mockingjay as hardcovers and they're in good conditions so far.

I find the whole Team Peeta and Team Gale thing weird because to me the books were never about that. They didn't really concentrate on the love triangle - there were so many more important elements to the story that by the time I got to the end of the last book I was like "Oh, damn! I forgot to pick a team!" Or maybe it's just because Finnick will always be my favourite character :)

I'm glad that she gets to be a part of this at least a little. If you go on websites a lot of people have preference fo chars, but as long as the people have the qualities that they need, and the movie DOES THE BOOK JUSTICE, then I'll be happy.

i am Team Peeta because he has loved her for so long and is so sweet and gentle and and woudl be the most perfect guy ever to marry, he's also romantic which is awesome! not to mention he canc ook! which is a bonus.

they both look out for each other Katniss is stubborn, Peeta is convincing, he knows how to calm her dow, make her happy and relaxed,

This book is amazing!

oh and i do love Gale but i loved him mroe in the first book, he changed in the second one,

I really hope they don't make a movie, it would just be heartbreaking. I don't think they could ever do my favorite books justice (percy jackson, anyone?). I could never choose between Gale and Peeta, both of their stories have some pretty convincing elements to them.

What an awesome interview! She's s articulate and intelligent. She truly knows her world that she created inside and out.

This movie will be amazing if they get it right. And, having her working on it so closely, the odds of it turning out great will be ever in our favor ;)

yes i agree!, although i've always wanted to view the games from a different perspective, maybe gale's or peeta's. It will be interesting, although i think their main concern is the rating, because of the violence it will most likely be rated R, however i doubt many parents will let their kids watch that.
