There are about 450 biotech companies in the UK employing about 21000 employees. Compared to over 500 biotech companies in Germany and around 30000 employees, on patents its even worse, 13.6% of the worlds biotech patents are from germany, 5.6% are from uk.
Having slightly less employees and companies but far less patents.. doesn´t sound like a good deal
