I had this going as I was doing some homework. When you went and talked about how it was boring to watch this for enjoyment, I though I would let you know that listening to you was just happy with that.

From a dramatic standpoint, the so-called "good" ending is a really bad ending. The theme of moving on, dealing with loss and learning to live again is well-developed, the villain is the very embodiment of what can happen if you don't, and most of the side stories touch on it as well. And then the "good" ending comes along and completely undermines it. Razzafrazzin' fanfic endings.

When I play this, I always earn the "good" ending and then turn it down. I love Yuna's line when you do that.

In my experience i didn't think the "perfect ending" was worth going through all these frustrating and time consuming missions. In my opinion i think the 2nd best ending is the best lol

Tell you the truth Dario, 100 percenting this game was a hell of a lot easier for me than FFX. To this day, I've never completed the chocobo, butterfly catching and lightning dodging minigames in FFX.

@SilentWeaponsIII That may be true but X didn't require you to 100% it for a better ending. I restarted this game like twice trying to get 100% and got tired and never finished it. I hated X-2 have never touched the game since.

I loved the CommSphere stuff, I got no idea what it was about that one. Just the feeling of the whole world coming together in a way. Of course then again, we have the internet for that now. Haha

I've never played this game, and I don't regret it :P Then again, I barely ever dislike a game, no matter how bad it is. Heck, I've played sesame street educational games, and I enjoyed it! I think if the player ignores the story and side quests, this game is quite good. The hype of the first game hurt this one a lot. Like every game, this one has both good and bad elements to it.

On another note, in case you haven't looked it up yourself, the Search Sphere is part of a mini quest thing on Besaid. You utilize it with a bunch of mini commspheres in chapter five to search for hidden spheres with numbers on them to get a code. The code let's you open up that second door in the Besaid Cave, taking you to another garment grid.

Garbage indeed. I never like doing this particular side-quest, on any playthrough.
