  • You might want to use the propeller for this project...

  • For a screen recorder: Fraps DOT! com

  • I like fraps cuz it leaves you the full resolution to play with, and captures the data raw.

  • Alrighty, ive watched all of your videos, first of all, the car ur useing is a Max Stone 5, What scale is it?

And, are you going to use a separate power source for the R/C car, versus the Arduino and stuff?

[Hopefully i plan to built something pretty much exactly like this, Still waiting for my arduino in the mail :D]

  • @nelsonmachupa This is the smallest version of the car, I think I got it from nitro rc something. I am using the car's power source to power the arduino directly. I will make a video soon showing how to control the servos and interface the arduino with the car. Thanks for watching... remember, this is a pretty advance project, and you will have times when you'll be pulling you're hair out!! I am currently stumped with parts of the navigation, so it might be a while before the next vid.

  • @kdarrah1234 Pulled this off in about 10 min :D

  • question

the arduino that youa rea using has one serial outup and one serial input

how you will gone to connect the gps and the compass on one serial input

and then you will have to conect and the memory stick to one input and one outup

so you need three inputs and one ouput

how you are going to do that????

  • @herctrap

good question... We will be covering all of that. We actually use something called a "Software Serial" which allows you to use any pin for serial comm

  • @kdarrah1234

    thanks

    cover that soon

because arduino mega is much more expensive

    thanks a lot

  • camstudio is a really good free recorder.

  • @skierplaterandy

    Thanks!!

  • Try out Cam Studio for screen capture. Is that a ham radio hand held near the wall?

  • @kd5exr

Thanks, I'll try that out, and yep that's a ham radio!!
