She always playing a lot of very hard games and she always find a way to win, congratulations Alexandra, you will be always my prefer GM chass player, love you *-*
Your videos are of the highest quality, Alexandra. You're as talented in chess as you are in teaching it, which is truly admirable. I'd like to take the time and compliment you on being such an inspiring and important figure in the world of chess and wish you nothing less than success in your endeavours.
Thank you for your insight. I love your videos! I subscribed to your podcast and was wondering what had happened since there has been a gap in your posting. Anyway, great to have you back.
@pauchalo Thanks for your kind message. I have many more chess videos in the works. I just don't have much time since I'm playing a lot of chess tournaments, but will post more as soon as I can!
@ChessQueen Thanks for responding. I have to agree. Truly great analysis and game. What a move... Qh6! Reminds me of another immortal game that I can't think of the name of off the top of my head.
Good to have you back, Alexandra! I wanted to ask you how you dealt with the emotions of losing the title to Hou Yifan, and what you think of what happened. Anyway, you are still the Chess Queen in my book :)
@Fupper16 Chess is a sport, you win some and you lose some, you have to accept the fact that you are "mortal" like everybody, there is nothing wrong with that. As for me, I plan on learning, teaching and enjoying chess my whole life!
@kristof80able I've thought the same thing! When my girls first stated playing they had Alexandra's training software going all the time; they developed little fake Russian accents! It was super cute!
I love the way you talk!

What about interposing the a1-h8 diagonal with 20. Qh6! ... Rf6 ?
EPISTEMESCIENTIA 5 months ago
@EPISTEMESCIENTIA Hi! If 20...Rf6 simply 21.Bxf6 and then if 21...gxf6 22.Rxd8+ Qxd8 23.Nh4 is crushing due to the threat of 24.Ng6 mate
