General Cordswainer just put out a cover of "How Can I Tell You". It's like a mix between Cat Power and Mazzy Star. Very sexy & a bit smoother than the Cat Stevens version. Totally recommended for your first dance at your wedding if you're a fan of Indie/Folk/Acoustic Rock.

Tink !, what a beautiful innocence you got in your voice, such purity its amazing!, i love this cover better then the original, to tell you the truth i'm not crazy about Cat Stevens only maybe one or two songs but this is great i like it better :)

Absolutely Lovely performance ! Such beautiful guitar pickin' and I can't help but wonder how you guitarists bend your fingers the wrong way, you're like aliens or somethin'. ;-) The singing n' harmonies are Outstanding ! ...duh. I still have my Teaser album and recall singin' along with this, to no one in particular, just loved the song. I sang a lot that summer, helped me not think about "the draft". Cat Stevens put out a lot of beautiful songs f-f-forty years ago, ouch ! I Love It !!! :-))))

I admit , " father and son" drove me crazy in the guitar lessons..and normally I just prefer to sing along secretly to these songs in kitchen , while they play in the radio..( my fav..wild world..lady d´arbanville *sigh*..lol..peacetrain..many others...)

anyway.this was an exception..after a request i thought, I ´d give it a try with my guitar. Iam happy i didnt get shot by any Cat Stevens fan yet.

Autumn is a good season to close your eyes and leave the brain fly and dream. When I listen to this song I travel to my sixteens and our youngster's parties with vinyl disks when we chose songs like this one to dance with the girl you liked....and thinking "how can i tell you...."
