I love Berlin, not only because i live there. Berlin is a mix of a little bit of everything. For sure it is not the most beauitiful City but very interesting with a strange mix of architecture. Dont forget Berlin has just 3.5 Million Citiziens and for that its amazing whats going on in this city. And what i really like, its not to commercial and not that boring mainstream like the Cities of the States (Some Exceptions)

this google thing is cool but it does no justice to how berlin really is when you add the life of it's citizens, the nightlife, etc...by far the most impressive city I have ever seen and I traveled a lot of parts of the world. In the parlament building you can climb up, it's simply incredible.

We're talking about a pretty small city. Berlin has 'only' 3.4 million inhabitants and the strongest reason for it having almost no skyscrapers is its devision until 1989. Frankfurt am Main is probably more what you're looking for.

I liked it a lot! I used to live in Berlin, so the models were fun to see. One thing though.... The Holocaust Memorial is not signs of those that were lost. It is actually blocks that are different shapes and sizes and heights. It is really neat and nothing is actually written on them... They are just there, if you haven't heard about it you won't know. And it's very maze like. But I loved it.
