Not to diss this kid's talent, because I think he is good, but not extraordinary. This could be one of Alex Lifeson's easiest songs to play. Just because it is a Rush song doesn't mean it has to be difficult and the fact that this kid can play it fairly well with little effort says something about the skills required to play the song, not about the kid himself.

I never said he didn't have talent, I said he wasn't extraordinary, because you have to be honest, he is not. At his age I wasn't playing Rush, I didn't even know what an electric guitar was. I was playing classical guitar, and just like this kid, I was good, not extraordinary.

Why? Because he can play a couple classic rock songs? Look he's good for his age and this video is what like 3 years old, so he's gotten better I assume; but lets be real, anybody can get the tabs to one of these songs and learn it fairly quick. This is not amazing playing, its good, especially for his age, but not amazing. Give it time, I'm sure he will develop into a very skilled musician. Who knows, he may have picked up drums or the clarinet in the time since this was made...
