its actually not gold hardware, its chrome, steve also had the "Cream" colored pickups colored with a black sharpie marker.

I've watched 2 parts of this so far....I always assumed Steve Morse was good.....but the way he plays is really beautiful...that's the only way I can describe it...it sounds really fucking good..

just have to put in a plug... Dudley Gimpel is in the background of these videos, he is one of the best guitar designers EVER and a big reason why Ernie Ball instruments are so great. How about some videos with Dudley talking directly to the artists?!!!
