No,Tom Holland directed Child's Play,Child's Play 2 was directed by John Lafia and the third one is Jack Bender,Don was just a writer in that 4 films but Don directed the Seed of Chucky and he writes it too and the Bride was Ronny Yu who directed

@DKJUNGLEFAN64 Don't worry - Don was the guy who made the first 3 chucky movies. After that - Tom Holland directed the rest of the movies, which were bad. But this time, Don is gonna make the movie, not Tom. So it's not gonna be as comedic (and have a lot of sexual stuff) this time.

Im from the UK too... I dont think it will at all release to English despite we love Chucky as much as the Americans do. I decided to buy their version of it and to watch it on my computer. It's worth buying.

the character of charles lee ray was invented by the director of child's play tom holland and he also came up with the voodoo aspect and is said to of write 60% of the final script because some of don's original ideas were ridiculous
