What counts most is finding who you are and being yourself, otherwise you will just lead a life that will be fake to you just because you think you "have to be". I've learned that it's not the "place" that makes you happy. It's you that makes you happy. Now that being said, I think the location can have certain effectiveness to it. I've found LA to be ineffective now. So I move on.

It's just that I can't stand livng in such a colectivistic city where noone has its own opinions, its own ideas, its own tastes, they just live their life just like its staded to, it's like a city filled with robots. Did you get my suggestions about Salt Lake, Utah? This area seems to have alot of indi film involvement like Sundance Institute. There's also big outdoors scene here.

LA has the largest homeless population in the US. It's often remarked how nice they are compared to the rest of the people there.
I wouldn't want to have to make a choice between two groups like that.
