@Overlordxoz You know it doesn't matter which religion you follow what denomination or any of that! He knows us by what He sees inside us! He knows us by how much we love Him and need Him! Old Testament Book of Habakkuk Chapter 2 verse 4: He whos souls is upright within him is not righteous. But he who lives by Faith is just! I've seen too often the Catholic faith devour souls and turn them away from God! That is the gravest of sins that any human can commit is to turn someone away from God!

It is #471 in Evangelical Lutheran Worship. I chose this hymn because today is the first Sunday in October, which is World Communion Sunday.
@Imaginefree69 : God is no hypocrite. The drinking of Christ's blood and the eating of His body is a METAPHOR (bread = body, wine or water = blood). We are not punished for Adam and Eve's sin, but we are affected by it. Christ's human sacrifice was to save us.
@SummerSunshine1988 not even so much about the eating and drinking but the fact that Jesus told us to do it in REMEMBERANCE of Him! We are not punished for Adam and Eves sin you are correct! We are punished for our own!! May Gods' Grace and Peace be with you always! Amen!
Im an athiest now, but went to a catholic school for 8 years and i still love this song , brings back memories to hear it now!

Why does god forbid human sacrifice in one place,
then turn around and demand human sacrifice to appease his rage?
Simlarly, God forbids drinking blood,
then Jesus demands the drinking of his blood,
which, along with ritualized cannibalism,
xians still practice today?
Why did god forbid punishing people for the actions of their fathers,
then condemn us for the actions of Adam?

He did teach us. He said take this, God's choice of wine and bread on Passover and we refuse to follow, Why?
