you are right. however there are people in the media consistent in their stated opinions and Beck is not one of them. Is he talented? sure. Entertaining? sure. But as far as I can see he has the ethics of a gnat. Personsally I think he should be taken off Foxnews and moved to reg Fox channel, if not canceled altogether which probably won't happen... point is his show is more comparable to Springer than a real opinion show.
Strangely, I went around trying to figure out whether or not he was "intelligent.", there are some people you really have to read what they say to notice what they're saying... Palin might be one of them! Abraham Lincoln was another... I think Beck is way smarter if you read him. He is entertaining but very hard to understand for some reason. His ability to talk to people is awesome though... Wish he had some call in during the TV program, would show he has some ability to think at least.
I think I'm just used to morally bankrupt national speakers. I have no idea why I am saying this but Hitler was more morally stable than some of our politicans today... A war veteran who never cheated on his wife or ever drank, gambled, you name it. He was one of the evillest murderers though. Immorality in itself is increditablity I guess, but who has the immorality to judge the immoral? I don't know if imperfect beings can do that. This is NOT defending Glenn Beck

Meth may have been terrible, but it wasn't illegal for a new product to be used by people. The effect it has on yourself is the terrible part, and leads to what cheating and lying already does... the destruction of trust of those you lead. Was it immoral? No, but has cheating been immoral since time began? Yes. Hitler was one of the evillest dudes alive, but besides being a dictator he was an extremely good leader.
