Say, you might remember a song I have been trying to find for years. I remember it being called "Firefall" (NOT the group). It was an instrumental song with one bass doing a repetitive cord and one electric guitar doing an almost freestyle scales. I think it was released around 1965-1967. Any ideas?
Y'all listen! I was 11 yrs old and "Chewy Chewy/Firebird" was the 3rd record I ever bought, right after Tommy Roe's "Dizzy" and "Build Me Up,Buttercup" by the Foundations. I played them all on a little mono record player my mom got with S&H green stamps! I am only bitter that my own kids never had so much fun for so cheap!
One of the great B-sides. Glad this made the Golden Classics CD. 1 of the 2 Chewy Chewy/Firebird 45's we had accidentally had Chewy Chewy printed on both side, even though one side was Firebird.
Try a song called Hot Smoke and Sassafrass by the bubble puppy's(circa 1968).I don't like Spiders and Snakes.. Jim Stafford.. or better yet R. Dean Taylors: INDIANA WANTS ME" Then check out Mr. Katz from 1910 Fruitgum Company/ along w/ Ohio Express. He was in both bands. Enjoy folks..
Yep, the flip of Chewy Chewy - love those harmonies. Could have passed for an A side.

Tell if I'm wrong if I am, but I think this was the flip side of chewy chewy.
