Even when this game never is going to be ready, I'm telling you:

The plot is good, characters are great and I can't see anything bad from this trailer. BUT, Seipher name was reminding me too much of FF8. And think about it: "A prince who lost his kingdom." It's almost like Ashe in FF12.

The story has improved a lot since the release of this trailer, I must say I really like the story and the characters as well. they seem to fit perfectly together.

About the never releasing: the big problem is TIME. Next to producing LOPD, I also play guitar, a big hobby of mine, and I like to spend time with friends, and I work, so you must understand that, even tho I like working on it, I just don't have enough time for LOPD

True, it probably never gonna come out, becouse its simply too much work, and I don't feel like spending all my time on this game. Next to making this game I also go to school and have other hobies, so it will take me years to complete this whole game. Im working on a demo which is gonna be big. Also check the latest movie, which shows I made lots of progress. I also lost lots of work when Windows was updated.

Game is coming, but it will take a lot of time and patience from me. Demo will come later this year.

The face in the message bar is indeed from suikoden 2, but I don't use the face anymore, couse it obviously doesn't fit with how the character looks in the game. It was a temporary face for untill I found the good face-pictures. In this movie you also see Mar's face picture has grey hear :P

But I now have all the resources, and I'm currently working on a new movie, in which everything will be as in the final version of the game. It's coming up later this week! :)

Do you mean making movies in RPG maker? You have to know how to work with the program and make maps, or it won't work...

About making movies like this one: I used Fraps to record it, and edited it with Windows Movie maker. If you have specifick questions you can also message me.

I don't have RPG maker for PS1. I only have the free to download RPG maker 2003 for the PC. Those games can easilly be uploaded. Don't know anything about other RPG makers..

About half a year, but it has not been long since I started to work harder. I already have lots of stuff, but it will still take some time for me to complete it. But lately I'm working hard making new maps and re-doing some old ones.

im currently making a game with my own sprites (i htae making my own it takes 20years to do one motion!!)wenever i sawmonsters batteling they didnt fight u back they stood still:P u should make ur own mosnter sprites and they actualy do fight back if u put the animation.

I don't know how to do that. Is it even possible to make monster sprites move? Good luck with making your own sprites! It's a lot of work, but in the end you have your very own sprites, and you can really say its YOUR game! Good luck, and tell us when you have some finished. I would like to see the results! :)

Me too! XP kinda sucks. There arent much sprites and chipsets to choose from, so most games look the same. It's cool you can use those scripts, but there is nothing like RPG maker 2003. A friend once gave it to me, and I still can't thank him enough.

Overall, its great and the chipsets and maps look amazing! Just need to work on those monster sprites, the FF ones are real good to start with if you can't sprite your own(like me)

The story sounds like yours? That's funny :P But... this is the base of the story, it will get far more complex than this, but I don't want to tell anything becouse that might spoil the fun. And I use lots of FF sprites, I can't make my own. That is a bit too dificult for moi and too much work :P

HI. I know hatret isn't a real word, I already told why I made some errors. But don't worry, the game itself will be checked by a friend of mine who is very good at english. I hope you don't think the trailer is ''Embarrassingly bad'' becouse of the text; Most RPGs have lots of it, so you can't say mine sucks becouse of that. Another reason why there is much text is becouse I wanted to tell a lot in the trailer, and don't have lots of gameplay footage, so it's actually a teaser trailer! :P

Some of those sprites look to have come out of either Rudra or Bahamut Lagoon. I'll be keeping an eye out for that progress and will be the first to DL.

BTW I found out that lots of sprites I use indeed come from The Treasure of the Rudras. Some of the soldier sprites I use are from Bahamut Lagoon. I try to use sprites that are in the same style, to make it look more cohesive. I once made a game with sprites from all kinds of styles, but that looked wrong.

I'm currently working on the demo. The demo is the first 2 chapters of the game (yup, the game has chapters, I thought that would ben nice;) ) Monday I will recieve my own PC (I ordened it last week) and so will get more time to work on the game, so the demo will be completed sooner than I expected. I shall also post an exploration movie, and a movie of the first bossfight later this week!

I don't know actually. I just got them from the internet. They do look like they come from the same game (except for Seipher) which is good becouse that makes it look more like it fits together. I once made a game with characeters looking all different...

Yes hatred... :P I know i spelled it wrong. I found out when I watched the trailer after putting it on Youtube... stupid me... MAybe it's becouse I'm dutch, english is not my first language, so somtimes I make mistakes. But a friend of mine is checking the in-game text, and he makes sure everyting is spelled right ;)
