The TLC matches made all six of those men stars but until this match, Jeff was a midcarder at best and sharing the spotlight with Matt. Before this match, he was just Jeff of the Hardy Boyz. This one match against Taker put Jeff in the spotlight and made him the star that he is now and made him JEFF HARDY.

Great video. I remember watching this live, I was such a Jeff Hardy mark, this match was so enthralling. This was the last time I felt an emotional attachment to a wrestling match, even then WWE was still great. It's a shame what it's become, but we can all fondly remember days and matches like these.

That was the best moment in recent WWE history in my opinion. Watching it live on TV, I couldn't take my eyes of it. Jeff did an amazing job and I thought Undertaker was going to just rip Jeff Hardy apart until he realized something.
From Undertaker's POV, Jeff Hardy reminded him of himself in his early days. I absolutely loved what he did at the end. Best show of sportsmanship I've seen so far.

This match gave me chills when I was a kid.
