in the mountain bike you are by your self there is not a team keeping you resting, you need to burn your legs and fight every one on every up hill ,downhill and switchbacks, i miss this kind of races!!!!!

Lubo .... unless the "team" had bungie cords attached to Lance's bike and pulled him up the mountains the team had nothing to do with Lance's win. Weins could have sat in just like Lance did. This ain't a road race, its mountain biking. Get a clue.

missing the real point folks. armstrong won it yes, but he had a'team' to help pace him round, set a high pace and beat the 'older' man weins. i'm an armstong fan but he didn't like losing the first time so made sure he won the next time!
