  • I just Subscribe to your channel....I am 16 and i love all yo recipes and i am going to try very single one of them...Thanks you !!!!

  • YOU ROCK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • THANK YOU!!! I have a low attention span, even when my mom, and sister tried showing me a long time ago I barely remembered. This helped me cook fried chicken for myself the first time!

  • what are the spices u put at the begining from the green box? we dont have it in our country

  • Thank you! The video was helpful.

  • Its fried chicken..I definately wouldn't label it southern... Looks good though :)

  • Thanks for the method. You make it look easy!

I never got fried chicken right, but you explain it very well.

    Thanks!

PS: I hope you found some more of your Dollar General spices. Otherwise, I bet you can just make up your own custom blend (like the Colonel, but even better)! Keep up the good work. I love your channel.

  • Thanks for the recipe

  • Thanks for the recipe

  • Thanks for the recipe

  • Helped me make fried chicken for the first time

  • looks so good! I think I could actually do this recipe. Thanks!

  • Tony Chechere spice is available from his website. Just do a search for the name. I use it for seasoning my turkey before I deep fry it.

  • that fry pollo looks gooooooood mama

  • I can never get my chicken to cook right. I use room temp chicken but it's always either burned on the outside or raw near the bone. Even if I use a meat thermometer there's always some raw parts near the bone. Fried chicken and pancakes are about the only two things I can't cook but the terrible thing is those are my all time favorite comfort foods. :0( Great video

  • @wolvee123 same here, I cant make fried chicken or pancakes right. It sucks cause I love them both lol

  • I usually brine my chicken for 30 minutes, and then after patting it dry I season it and then marinate it in buttermilk overnight. I then dip in flour and wait until the batter is "gummy", which causes the batter to stick better when frying. But your chicken looks good as hell, too. :-)

  • yes!! i love that Tony's seasoning and they sell it in a big size at walmart-bottom shelf for $1.98!!! You can throw down girl. Looks good!!

  • Well I just stumbled onto your video while searching on a fried chicken recipe.. Looks great I'm going to try it in about 10 minutes lol.. thanks for uploading

  • I LOVE WHOLE WINGS... Except I don't fry them, I make "Fried Chicken" by removing skin and using NuWave infrared oven instead... :-P

  • I can't imagine why anybody would dislike this video.

  • It's Chachere (SASH-Ray)...i only kno bc thats my family last name

  • thanks ur such a cutie :)

  • tony chachere's is good, I order it online at their website (just google it) if I can't find it. Louisiana is filled with the all in one seasonings. Check another seasoning called Slap ya Mama... it is the best, they have a website you can order from also.

  • just seen this vid, i can't wait to try this recipe tomorrow. i will let you know how it goes, it looks delicious!!! can't beat fried chicken!!

  • look yummy

  • Very nice, easy to understand for the novice cook like me..

  • i never fried chicken before, i had to watch this, thanks alot

  • The skin on that chicken looks awesome. My stomach is rumbling just looking at it. I'm frying chicken for dinner tonight.

  • OMFG! LoL it looks so good! Please make more videos? :D

  • this is gna help me survive at uni wit my new mini fryer. did not kno used eggs! thanks!

  • My mouth is watering. . . I needed a recipe for some chicken what's in the fridge, and i wanted fried chicken, haven't done it yet, but i'm going to cook it soon. hope it turns out well! Nice video and good instructions 10/10 for me! :)

  • BAM!

  • marry me baby..

  • LOL HOT SAUCE IS A MUST!

  • It is Awesome.

  • great stuff x

  • I used this recipe to make pan fried chicken Wednesday night and it came out nice and golden and crispy. Way better than that Colonel's chicken. I feel kind of stupid saying this, but I never knew you were supposed to dip the chicken in egg first. It made all the difference in the world. Can't wait to try some more of Rosie's recipes.

  • Rosie, people like you are what make the web worthwhile. I'm currently using your recipe for oven-baked pork ribs and tomorrow night I'll be using this fried chicken recipe. Good eating.

  • @YouCanCallMeAl Hey there! I'm so glad you like my recipes. Please keep me informed with your outcome of the meals you make. xoxo

  • @ladyrosie1983 You look beautiful in your picture at the beginning of your video.

  • Howdy Mrs. Rosie, I have a question for you! I generally double-dip the chicken in flour (after a minute or so of each side in the oil I put it back in the flour mix) what method do you prefer? I did check out your other video on "extra crispy" fried chicken but was still curious.

  • @KellandGreystone I hardly double dip, but do whatever you like. cater to your taste buds! :-)

  • thank you so much men! I gotta great supper!!!!

    u go girl!

  • Can u do one on hot wings, like the ones at pizza hut

  • @zoehanson999 i'm from upstate ny home of Buffalo wings ... All you need to do is was the wings dry em then deep from them in Oil untill done ... For the sauce you wanna use franks red hot mixed with melted butter. If you want more heat add cayenne pepper. There you go Buffalo wings !!

  • @therat36 Dry the wings first, then dip them in franks hot sauce and butter, then dip them in flour, and then fry them.Right?

  • @zoehanson999 the wing sauce comes after the frying ;)...

  • @MrBlackpowderbob Hey there! I would rotate the chicken every five minutes. The timing really depends on the size and peice of the chicken. Be sure to check out my other video "Extra Crispy Fried Chicken"

  • can i ask y u covered ur stove with tin foil. i always see people do it and i always wondered y?

  • @thyckshawtii It makes it easier to clean. Instead of scrubbing, you can simply take out the foil and toss it.

  • @ladyrosie1983 OOOOOOh that makes soooo much sense. I am going to tell my mother to do that. lol

  • Hello: I don't know if you can use regular milk instead of buttermilk for this recipe? Do you know if they taste the same? Thanks

  • @lauls85 Hi I didnt use any milk in this recipe

  • Looked very tasty

  • Dear Rose,In your fried chicken recipe you mentioned that you may need some of that seasoning. It is Tony Chachers Origional Creole Seasoning. I have an un opend container here for you.I used this method in my deep fryer and it was Fantastic. Thank you, Keen in Texas

  • Rosie, girl you're gonna get me in trouble, but I;m subbing anyway. :)

  • hi......i wanna know how long you fry the chicken in oil so that I dont burn it .........also I love my chicken to be spicy ...what would you suggest to make it more spicy...........???

  • @aravind1985 It really depends on the size of the chicken.... What you can do is peirce the chicken with a fork until you reach the bone. If there is no blood, its done. Remember to brown each side. If you want it more spicey you can add cayenne pepper to your flour mixture... I hope this helps :-)

  • imma make this for my man cause he loves fried chicken

  • good luck with that i use it on every thing its great can't wate to try your dish

  • do you guys have a sprouts or whole foods they may have it there if not i heard that you can order it by the case off of there web site

  • No we don't i'll end up buying it online

  • ladyrosi1983 I dont know where you live but Ralphs aka as kroger and vons 99cents only stores carry this seasoning

  • I live in Seattle and we don't have any of those stores you named..I'll be looking around though..Thanks

  • I liked the way you tucked the wing into itself, would that take a little longer to cook that way?

  • No it still takes the same amount of time to cook darling :-)

  • Awesome! Looks delicious and easy. Thanks for including the directions on how to oven fry. My one and only attempt at stove top frying resulted in a small grease fire...LOL!! Won't be doing that ag again :)

  • Slap Ya Mamma is better than Tonys but I think you can only find it in Louisianna so I have to order it online.

  • I never heard of slap yo momma....gotta try it...

  • I'm in CT and I also found the Tony's in the Dollar Tree. Have you tried the grocery stores??? We have it our grocery stores and also at Wal-Mart. If I go to Wal-Mart I can find a couple of varieties, the regular one, a spicy one and one with spices and herbs. So try there. Good luck and that chicken looks delicious!

  • this looks sooo good girl ! but may i ask what does the dipping it in the egg supposed to do? ! never tried it that way !

  • the egg j help the flour really stick on the chicken. It also makes it really crispy..

  • ohhh ok gotcha :) i gotta try that

  • dis looks mad good, im eatin some now, nice vid

  • Thanx for watching :-)

  • Girl you always make me hungry!!! lol thanks for the video...
