  • BEWARE... TOXIC MOLD GROWS BETWEEN THE TUB AND VERY COSTLY LINER

  • yea bathfitter is awesome......hahahah yea i work for them

  • NICE!! Thanks for that video. I am considering having the same thing done and your video gave me a really good idea of the finished product.

  • Thanks for commenting - glad you found it beneficial! :)

  • How much did it cost to do what you had done?

  • About $6K

  • Thanks for posting this. I signed an agreement with bathfitter the other day to have my old bathtub converted into a stand alone shower. Love the job they did on yours. You should allow bathfitter to link this video to their site:) I will be very happy if they do as good of a job on mine as they did yours.

  • Cool! I know you'll like it - it will especially look a lot better.

Glad you found the video beneficial and thanks for watching!

  • right, I like Re-Bath, I know hundreds of people that had it done, and only a hand full of complaints. now to say Re-Bath is garbage, you're pretty much saying bathfitters is garbage, since you call both acrylic, you're both the same, and I know a hand full of people that used bathfitters, and I know a hanfull of complaints

  • actually rebath uses a polymer which is a very different material then acrylic.....sorry but bathfitter uses 100% acrylic with a lifetime warranty from chipping cracking fading molding mildue hardwater stain everything and they come repair or replace for free

  • Re-Bath is 100% better guaranteed

  • Rebath is garbage. They sell only because of their variety in colors, but when I put a sample piece of both acrylic next to one another, Bathfitters is much more durable. Plus, the seamless wall was the biggest sell point.

  • can i ask how much that ran you.

  • Approximately $6000

Before your jaw drops - bear in mind this includes cutting out an old shower with tub and putting a new one in. You can get a tub fit over your older one considerably less - but I would NOT recommend that as the old tub is still there gathering (uncleanable) mold. So I think it was well worth it - and contract jons won't go for any less.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Wow! there are no vertical caulk lines. How do they do that? That shower is awesome. I'm calling bathfitter right now. Thanks for the post Zachattack

  • My pleasure and thanks for watching!

Not even sure if they used caulk - they put in padding behind the wall infront of the old studs - I think all sealanr they use is put over the padding.

    Yes, defimitely something to consider!

  • I liked the old more, jk! It's beautiful!!! =D

  • You had me there...

  • yeah much better

  • Definitely!

  • looks nice.

    5/5

  • Thanks!
