A pity this came out instead of a second album with Stock Aitken and Waterman. this flopped. She should have recorded "Happening all over again" which was given to Lonnie Gordon. I like donna summer very much. I don't understand though on this choice. bizarre.
I remember when i first purchased this on cassette when it first came out..after the thrill of Another Place And Time, this turned out to be a disappointing album for me..but has since grown on me..no voice like hers ever..so talented.
@dineen68 even more of a shame is that the single didn't even chart in the united states on any of the charts: r&b, pop, or club. However, it did fairly well in the uk from my sources, charting top 40 there. Perhaps the fact that the rest of the album this came from (mistaken identity) is so undeniably an 'urban' sound made the single be overlooked. the album only came in at #97 on the r&b albums chart here in the u.s. perhaps it was due to the dramatic change in american radio at the time?
Sometimes it's a man and a man or a woman and a woman and that's magic too.

What a bizarre video. Love the original version of this song. This version not so much.
