This patient has her head covered for religious reason and would definitely not approve of posting this video to the public during a physical exam where privacy measures were not taken by the physician (highly doubt, he is a qualified one), it is quite obvious that the person who posted this video did not take her consent.

my question is what are the other methods of doing murphy's sign, i mean different positions of hand? what are the name of maneuvers by which we identify the lateral borders of rectus muscle?

I was looking for an inspiratoty arrest at inspiration after deep palpation in the right hypochondriac quadrant. I saw nothing of that, care to help me?
was this patient's consent taken before posting this on youtube? if not, i think that it is unnecessary and highly inappropriate considering no measures to conceal the patient's identity were taken.
I'm sure the fact there is a video camera in the room was a give away to the patient that there was more going on that just an examination, not only that but your are questioning the scrutiny of the doctor who took this by implying that consent was not saught. Don't spend the rest of your days trying to be an anal medic, doing it by the book! Get off your high horse and appreciate the effort someone has gone to share this knowledge with others.!!!!!!
You look for pain, sure, but you also look for the patient's reluctance to breathe in deeply when the hand is almost in contact with the gall bladder. It's an "apprehension" test as well as a pain test.
the patient will experience some discomfort is their gallbladder is swollen and tender because of the extra pressure that is being put on that area by the physicians hand.
