@mwmalecky I'll try to upload a higher quality one. Also, check the description of the video, I just put a link to the higher-quality version on my site.
You know, I think the Black Angels you appreciate this kind of collaboration of their music and great visuals. As a somewhat 60s revivalist band, this kind of thing compliments their sound nicely. Reminds me of all those overhead projections bands used to use back in those days.
I have a wicked idea firing around in my brain, and rotoscoping is really the only way to go about doing it. But I HAVE NO PROGRAMS that will let me rotoscope as easily as that program. GAH, I wish you were located in Vancouver so's I could at least try for a job.
Love the music, love the video. I officially declared this video "the coolest thing ever" about a year ago on a forum I frequent (electro-tech online <-- sorry, that's just meant to be for your reference, not a shameless plug by any means!).
I've never had so much enjoyment from just one chord. Thanks! Best thing ever! Five stars! 10/10! Smiley face!
I saw that, it looks pretty neat. I don't have a DS but I'll recommend it to the people I know that do, I think they'd enjoy something like that. I hope that at some point you put out Rotoshop or the program used to make this sometime.
cool video

Very cool, do you have any plans to release this program or your other program to the public?

not at this time. I am working to release another paint/animation program, for the Nintendo DS.

It's "Black Grease" by The Black Angels, from their LP "Passover"
bsabiston 4 years ago
How much time did it take to make that?>
WolfgangLMclain 4 years ago
It took about 2 weeks. It is not After Effects at all, it is a custom software I wrote where you move shapes live on screen to the music. --Bob

Why do I get the feeling that I'd love this if I were high. Nice After Effects sequencing there
