@herman1850 Vergeleken met andere (Europese) landen kunnen Nederlanders over het algemeen goed engels spreken en we kunnen sneller omschakelen. Neem als voorbeeldje even Nederland-Frankrijk. Nou, het "frengels" wat zij spreken, daar is weinig van te maken ;)

Nou in vergelijk met de meeste buitenlanders (behalve dan dus waar Engels de moedertaal is) spreken wij echt wel goed engels. De meeste mensen van buitenaf verbazen zich dat Nederlanders over het algemeen zich zo makkelijk aanpassen qua taal. Maar dat zit nu eenmaal in ons. Het is ook niet gezegd dat het allemaal TECHNISCH zo goed is, maar het belangrijkste is dat men ons begrijpt.

but the pronunciation of G comes acctualy from the spanisch G/J (ex página(Es) = pagina(Nl)) during the spanisch domination time! But you are right such sound is impossible to be pronunced by an american...Dutch language Rulez
