You would probably benefit greatly from the 'walk' button, w. Let's you fly across the screen the same way as holding down the arrow keys does, but with less 'whoops I ran into an enemy fifty times and died'.

Although that might make it too /easy/.

Jef a lot of times it says you can't eat something, like when you try to eat the crab's corpse, you're just bloated. And with that glow sphere you'll never need torches again, so you might as well sell them!

Also don't forget you can trade the wire-fetishist for data disks and scrap to make things.

Also ALL those dots jef mean they can be disassembled for those parts.

The dots show what material you get from breaking something down.

All guns, A lot of trinkets, and all the junk you can randomly pick up, like the cracked lens, can be disassembled. The dots just show you what you get when you disassemble them. You might have already figured this out, but I wanted to tell you just in case.

Compare that to nearly everything else Jef has done where you'll see a Jef that is having fun. That Jef is remarkably exactly the same as the Jef in this LP.

Jef, on an item in your inventory, you might find some colored dots, and from what I gather, that means it can be disassembled, or have something to do with tinkering. The colors indicate what you can get from it, green being let's say, power crystals, and red being lava pants. If one item has one of those colors, it can get one of those items relative to the color, and if they have both colors then they can get both items.

Speaking with all the expert knowledge of someone who has never played this game, I think the dots correspond to the components it's made of. You can tell what type of components you get if you disassemble via color of the dots.
