I do but if things start to feel "twingy" or like something's going to pull from going to hard, I'll adjust my reps upward to 15-20ish. This is usually only the last couple weeks before a contest though.
Thanks for the quicc reply! I'm a very carb-sensitive individual, and I get in <30g carbs a day for 6 days, and go 350g for my high carb days. I'm finding it difficult now to beat the logbook. When I was following my mass gaining diet, everything went well. Do you recommend sticcin' with DC or following more of a Yates-style of training?
Honestly it's going to be difficult to beat any type of logbook regardless of what kind of training you're doing if you're eating like that all the time. If you're dieting strictly, you're just not providing enough nutrients for growth. You'll need to find a balance, or do phases of more calories then less.
Jason, I'm a big fan of & you & I need your adivce! I want to increase my Bench press to 315 lbs. for reps. I'm currently finishing up a 5X5 routine while handling 210 lbs. In your opinion; Would DC Training help reach my goal? Thanks, Eric.
DC is great for strength increases so I'd say go for it. You have to realize though, it's not really a workout designed to peak on one specific lift, rather your bench will go up with everything else over time.
I've never used the ATP sleeves to be honest, but I prefer the basics on things like neoprene sleeves - some support, keeps the joint warm - that's it. I don't want too much support though or we can get into an almost-wrap-like situation.
I enjoyed this video very much. ive had my fair share of injuries and cuirrently have some thats beside the point though. A.R.T therapy has helped me tremendously where I could do upper upper for 6 months plus because of an injury and ART helped me get back into the recovery process. Out of all the videos this one is a must, as probally every one is. thanks for doing these!
Do you still do DC during your precontest phase?

Would you recommende using glucosamine suplhate for joints?
leo91croatia 2 years ago
G/S isn't bad but if you're having issues I'd try that as well as MSM and Cissus Quadrangularis. True Protein has a great formula:
1500mg Glucosamine HCL
1200mg Chondroitin Sulfate
200mg Cissus Quadrangularis Extract
200mg MSM

What show are you doing next??

No more shows for a while. USAs was the last one this year. I need to put on more size to be a legitimate heavy weight.

Jason, do you recommend neoprene elbow sleeves(and knee sleeves) over the regular sleeves?(like atp's sleeves)
