I love Gould's beethoven p.c. #5 with Stokowski. beautiful playing in the slow movement.
NOW I HAVE A QUESTION
does anyone have Albert Pratz's Ace of Diamonds LP Voice of the Stradivarius? I hope I have the title right. Violin pieces with orchestral accompaniment. i.e. tailleferre, glazounov etc. It's a gem. I've never seen it on CD and would love to have this little masterpiece.

number three is particularly good, with the little pizzicato in the middle of the melody. classical music is just taken far, far, too seriously.

Really FANTASTIC ! It's a great pity that Gould passed away too early. The typical way
he played piano always attracted me and I feel I could also listen to his whispering.
Thank you for sharing a splendid "GEM".
