  • how were you able to film this?

  • @hawkplaya94 This isn't my personal footage. But the guy who filmed this is the navigator on the B-1B.

  • @wellerocks thats awesome

  • @hawkplaya94 I'm sorry, correction, the guy who filmed this is the guy responsible for the defensive countermeasures on the plane.

  • @wellerocks i thought something was up cuz they just need an offensive systems officer and defensive systems officer

  • The B1B is not a stealth bomber.

  • @KiloByte69 Also aiding the B-1's survivability is its relatively low radar cross-section (RCS). Although not technically a stealth aircraft in a comprehensive sense, thanks to the aircraft's structure, serpentine intake paths and use of radar-absorbent material its RCS is about 1/50th that of the B-52 (probably about 26 square ft), although the Lancer is not substantially smaller in mass than the Stratofortress.

  • @wellerocks When it comes to the B-1 it can hide pretty well using radar jamming and the later. But the same goes with the B-52 H it has the most capability with jamming so much that it doesnt need stealth, it just prevents you from seeing it anyway electronically.

  • @wellerocks low-ish RCS does not a stealth aircraft make. The B-2's RCS is about 0.1 square meters, or just over 1 square foot.

  • first comment! yessssss!!!!!!!!! awsome vid!
