I have a 86 735i vert, everything is good until I reach about 3800 rpm's then the engine has a power loss and fire. I have checked the fuel pressure regulator, the full throttle switch the mass air flow sensor crankshaft sensor ,coil spark plug, coil wire, distiboters, no luck so far, any ideas on what I should do next....rep me please thxxx
The air bleed hole is so elementary. Hope you do a follow up on this one. Have you ever worked on the old Renault R16 cooling system? They were a bleeding nightmare... lol
Ah the notorius all in one T piece, why not just have regular hoses and a metal T piece and some hose clamps like every other car manuf instead of that shitty all in one thingy thats bound to fail sooner than later ??

do you know why they do it?? because they can make more cash off it and it makes the car a bit cheaper to make.

I'm deciding if I make a new one with a brass tee and some OEM hoses, or buy a new BMW Hose.
this one lasted a bloody long time.

Got more air than coolant! lol
Good to see you sorting it out. i hate it when tiny things like this happen.

cool yep that would have stopped the pump. when you turned it off the air would have gone to the high point because the T/stat would have been open.
