  • First off I like all of your presentations, they have rekindled my interest in metal detecting. I noticed you replaced your 10" elliptical with what looks like a 9x8" Concentric which I assume is better for coins in UK soils. I have an older Bandido uMax operating at 12 kHz with an 8" round concentric and I want to reach a little deeper into the beach sand we have here in Florida, do you think a 12x10" or 9x8" Concentric would be better?

  • @redcarsarasota unfortunately norfolk wolf passed away some week ago. I think I'll miss his videos :(

  • @asassinoooo OMG He did!? RIP Norfolk Wolf! We will miss you!

  • I can hear the difference at the end. The huge copper penny gave a poor signal and the iron gave a good one.

  • Yeah I can tell the difference. The huge penny gave a crap signal and the chunk of iron gave a good one.

  • just buy a goldmaxx power instead, so much better on iron, solid construction, see my videos ringfinder1962

  • let see that ace 250 on that test bed come on.

  • I like your test garden real cool

  • I like how he always says "We'll see how we geh-on"

  • Thanks my friend.

  • Can be better than the gold max if used with the right coil and tuned too it. Oh a good speaker upgrade and Service on the power joints inside if its older than 5 years. Power tested. It can match my gpx 5000 so I will never get rid of mine. Its one of the best on trashy Roman sites full of iron for finding the goodies. Great Mech esp when used with decent headphones and slow sweep speed.

  • The Lobo is one of the best 2 use in Iron infested sites eg Roman/Celtic. Dont rate this coil with it though, if the 10x12DD was used and a service matching done with the coil it beats the xp and is on par with my GPX as its a deep seeker and sensitive 2 saxon and other nice small coins deep in iron infested ground it will cut through the iron were Minelabs fail. I know I have both and have had many Minelabs. The lobo is an excellent Detector when balanced right and with the Tesoro 10x12 coil

  • please could you do a test om the "VIKING V1" as it is, apparently, a good detector and also, I am wishing to buy this machine after Christmas (in Early 2011).

I would be grateful for this,

    Rob

  • Sweep from the Sooty show! :-)

My brother has one of these, it's found him some nice coins over the years, not quite up to the xp goldmaxx standard though.

  • Sweep from the Sooty show! :-)

  • you should test the tesoro tejon

  • sounds like a duck shot up arse

  • Discrimination should be set at 2 to 2.5 for theuk, your'e settings will kill the machine so will that fast sweep speed.
