@kalliber5 well, the video comes without sound. The music comes from yt audioswap database. so there's no way to get sound back to a 2 yr old video. sorry.

It's the first ZX5. It's built pretty much stock, but now has the mid-rear conversion (LA-243) and improved triple shock caps. The original double shock caps are pretty mch useless.

Hello, I have the same car with an LRP X12 6.5T, but I'm using 6 cell packs. How long do you run at full speed with your 5200 Lipo? With my 6 cell Team Orion I get about 11 minutes.

How fast is it brushless? I'm an oldschool driver 80's Tamiya Hotshot and Kyosho Javelin those days. I don't have any brushless experience. Just asking.

If you get the right brush less you will have to relearn how to drive the car it's so much torque and acceleration. You may break some drive train parts or have to purchase stronger parts to withstand brush less on older cars.

21 pinion and stock spur.

I've the RTR version and these seem to have the "El cheapo" swing shafts (LA302).I think I'll swap them for the sturdy ones (LA231).

Regarding the sandproblem:Although the sand can fall off,it sticks in between the gears and gets pushed into the spur,which is made of plastic.I had to use a tiny screwdriver to get them out of the spurgear.

Get a 3Racing dust cover from ebay, it really helps keep the gunk out of the transmission.

Do you have problems with the gears when driving in sand?

And are you still using the stock drivingshafts?Mine (front right side) broke after 15 minutes normal driving on tarmac.

no problem with gears as sand falls out of the bottom of the chassis. I'm using stock swingshafts and only broke one in 2 years of driving. But depends on driving style and I don't run it on tarmac :)

depends on your gearing how fast it can go. To do wheelies the slipper must be locked. Don't know if it really does though.
