Remember, I made this 8 months after part 6 came out, in 1996. To my knowledge there was not going to be a part 7 (which ended up being Halloween H20, 2 years after this) or a part 8. There is no part 9, that would be the remake, and it's soon to be made sequel later this year...

Yeah, that worked pretty well in my opinion, because the actor was just doing a subpar version of Loomis's old routine (no offense, nobody could do it as well as Donald Pleasence) and so seeing Tommy run away behind Loomis's back as Loomis kept going on and on and on was pretty funny, and it worked.
