@Sarah01181225 no. her program was good and fine. it's a gold medal performance, but many of us didn't expect her score to be that high, especially for a girl. most of the score she gains is not only jumps and presentation, but how she executed her jumps. the judges gave too much on the GOE's. if you look at her short and long at worlds this year, you can tell her scores were inflated. with her score she beats some guys in the olympics.

@fanboys7 At Olympics, judges have tendency to give more points than other competition. Look at Mao. She did perform way better at Worlds but she got less points than Olympics.

You should've read an article written by a British guy who analyzed Yuna's jump/tech/artistry as a figure skater. I could understand why ISU judges gave such score in LP to her at the Olympics after reading his analysis.

Yuna was very exhausted at 2010 Worlds. She refused to go/refused to attend. No Gold medalist attends Worlds after Olympic was over. She went there without any preparation. So she lacked zeal & passion at Worlds. But at the Olympics, definately those were her nights.

I don' think judges look at how often skaters fall.

At Olympics, Mao's 3A-2L(?) had downgrade because she did not jump perfect and she missed number of spinning. Experts sometimes say missing number of spinning is same as falling. So look at the whole picture. Tech & artistry.

@Sarah01181225 yes just like worlds. skate like her at worlds and maybe get 133. all those experts who say the jump counts if it's only 1/4 turn and you get full credit is wrong. if a jump is underrotated by a 1/4 it will count as a triple, but you will lose more points. Mao asada's 3a was counted because it was 1/8 of a turn which is not really cheated.falling is the least of the skater's problems. yeah Kim's the best right now in olympic history.

According to Figure skating experts & several previous Gold Medalists, the reason Yuna Kim gets special treatment is because SHE upgraded women's figure skating to one level up in terms of the whole package. The whole package means not only technicial way but also speed & quality. In one word, she brought freshness to women's figure skating world as well as level upgrading. I thought only SKoreans are excited for her but I noticed p/p around me they say there is no contest for her.
