I used the Sphinx glitch to cut past opening the Sphinx doors and I was in the area with the rising and descending water within 5 minutes, easily cuts off 20 minutes of the time trial hahaha.

i dont know if this helps, but you can rotate the first once twice and the one diagonal to that one to raise the platform, just to save a little more time :-P
