  • what kind of sewing machine do you have? Im looking to sew swimwear but I have a brother cs6000i idk if that will do the job because I dont think it does the "serger" stitches is that a must to sew swimwear? Im kinda new to sewing if you cant already tell.

  • @sugarbaybee Hello, my serger is the Babylock BL097 and my sewing machine is the Babylock Xscape BL66, it is not necessary to have a serger to sew swimwear but it makes it easier, you can sew elastic with your sewing machine on zig zag stitch, I got the serger because I sew a lot of stretch fabrics, I goggled your machine it should do the job well, just practice on scrap pieces until you learn how to how the fabric, it's difficult at first, my 1st swimsuit was horrible lol

  • @sugarbaybee but with more practice I'm sure you'll become a pro real soon, good luck, hope this was helpful :D

  • how do i get the patterns?

  • @champagnesuperrnova these are my patterns that I have made myself, but I'm sure you can find a pattern similar to this, these bottoms are very basic

  • This is awesome. Thank you

  • @MsBrettRobson your welcome:)

  • I wish I had a serger.

  • @Evange You do all your sewing with just a sewing machine!? That's amazing, I can't live without my serger, especially for swimsuits and stretch fabrics it's very helpful.

  • @LadySasa1000 I just never sew anything stretchy.

  • @Evange oh so I see, "stretchy" was the first thing I learned how to sew lol
