I have a 10X8 I have to do that same exact thing with. Would it be much heavier than yours? Would it be easier to just lift it from the roof joists? I'd hate to drop it!
The way the shed is designed, the door is on the 10 ft. section, so you can't really get any tractors in it 'cause 6ft isn't deep enough. We put shelves in it and store boxes of engine parts, as well as smaller things like weed whackers, engines and transaxles.
Yeah the metal ones are REAL flimsy, fortunately it's a safe area here 'cause you could break into this without even trying. We have a nice wood shed Dave's dad built years ago, it's really well made with stained wood siding and all, but it's not on a cement pad because our town won't allow that. I wish we could run electrical to the sheds too, but again the town won't allow that.
Thats cool- i had to cut mine apart when they brot my new 12x16 shed in- was no other way to put it in the yard- i tried taking it apart - was so rusty i just took my sawzall to it and scrapped it- got $10 at the junkyard......can never have enough room- i still plan on making another shed onto my new one( shoulda went with a 12x20...)
The "new" shed that's going here is from Dave's grandmother's house. It is from 1984 or so, but his grandfather had the smarts to cover all the exposed screws and joints in caulk and tar since new, so it came apart easy.
you don't happen to have a grass catcher for an old rear engine rider laying around, that you could let go for cheap? lol

Can you guys move my shed ? lol

was this shed hard to put together?
icool247 2 years ago
Not too bad. Just time consuming. The instructions were pretty easy.
LynolsOffice 2 years ago
No, the sheds are just screwed down to the wood platform, and the platforms weigh a lot, so I don't think they're going anywhere.

@LynolsOffice
