lol, volleyball coordination and basketball coordination are two completely different things, it would take them years and years and they are still probably too big and doppy to play beach volleyball
Seriously, I dont get it. Look at Griffin, James, Howard.. all these players in NBA would do this after month practice in sand... So why is it so awesome?
@fufyscheck nope!! volleyball is a sport of techniques!! not height!! it does not take a month practice to play like these pro volleyballers...especially not on the sand!!!
@fufyscheck They could very well do this. I think if those guys decided to play volleyball they'd be great, but after 6 or 7 years. It's not something you can succeed at overnight, much like any sport really, but beach volleyball is all technique, finesse, and strategy. Power and height comes after that. Yea, height helps a whole lot, but it doesn't define you as a good player. The only way to help you realize why it's so awesome is if you played yourself and fell in love with the game.
I love the initial candid reaction by the commentators. I'm surprised they were able to say anything at all cuz the first time I saw this a just stared with my mouth open

Was there for both the Vegas Line and the Manhattan Line, and the Latter had so much more velocity and elevation it was insane!!!
Biggest Spike I ever saw was Brook Billings USA vs Poland in Salt Lake City. Ball must have gone well over 80 feet in the air.

Three things make this better than Vegas.
One, he yells through and just after the hit.
Two, his hat stays on this time so he gets extra points for grace and style.
