  • it's like if Rush did stoner...

  • fucking amazing man, however with sabbath now making a new album and going back on tour these guys dont need to keep the sabbath alive, they can do it themselves

  • GREAT SONG ... I LOVE BLACK SABBATH OLD STYLE.... THIS GUYS KEEP IT ALIVE.

  • WOW!! these guys are great! i see what people mean by them being sabbath-influenced now :P the riff and the singing song sounds a lot like iron man!

  • I love this song.

  • Great song; they remind me very much of early black sabbath, which is a good thing.

  • Electric Funeral

  • Love the vibe but, uh, check out the track Holy Mountain from sleep. That's what this borrow from, I'd say (exact progression). Whether or not Sleep borrowed this from Sabbath I do not know.

  • not bad.

  • DB at 3:01!

  • Black Sabbath tribute clearly!!!!

  • è una cazzata questa canzone non è di ozzy!!!!!!!!!

  • i have a cd of ozzy it have this song

el album "ozzy osbourne the secret songs"

  • Thats probably a bootleg, this is fucking SHEAVY.

  • Comment removed

  • Your a fucking idiot, it was originally by this band and off the album THE ELECTRIC SLEEP im sick and tired of you stupid fucking fan boys who think this is a sabbath original because its not, besides that soloing is only reminiscent of iommi.

  • sounds like sleep. btw sleep is x10 times better.

  • Sleep has about 2 or 3 good songs where Sheavy has a shitload of good songs.... smoke that.

  • @kyuss4me

FUCK that. Sleep's entire Holy Mountain is great, not just good. Even the epic hour long Dopesmoker is amazing... I'm not saying anything negative about sheavy, but Sleep deserves better than that :P

  • @Satantransvertdeath yeah dude for real.

  • Who ever said this song was a lost Black Sabbath song should of done his research. This is Sheavy at it's best even if they are heavily influenced by Sab. There are many bands out there who sound like Black Sabbath but they don't compare to Sheavy. Take a listen to all Sheavy's albums and you will see they are truly a great stoner/doom band.

  • Wow, I always thought this song was Black Sabbaths. This must be a tribute act to Black Sabbath, only creating own material.

  • Wow, talk about a Sabbath influence, lol !

  • What a fuckin' Quality video,Finally...,Sheavy Rules!!!!

  • the riff at the beginning springs to mind sleep's holy mountain... no?

  • yeah it does, of the slower riff in the middle of Holy Mountain... which is by far superior to this.

  • yes it is by far superior on its level. Sleep is the band.. end of story..

Sheavy emulates Sabbath at an extreme level (even on the voice), Sleep got his onw freedom..

  • I'll not say that is better or worst, 'cause thats a matter of opinion, but IMO Sleep is way more powerfull than Sheavy. Sheavy emulates too much the Sabbath sound, even on the voice..

    Sleep have his own freedom..

  • sheavy is, what black sabbath lost with sabbath bloody sabbath.

  • Have you ever heared of Sabotage? Technical Ecstasy and Never Say Die?

    Those are killer albums, mate.

  • nope. definetly not. Black sabbath, Paranoid and Master Of Reality are the best albums of Black Sabbath. It's a matter of opinion of course. But i definetly prefer their "blues rock" albums.

  • 100,000 percent aggree with you

  • Black Sabbath LOST with SBS? Are you kidding me? It's not my favourite, but that is an amazing album

  • i geuss u mean lost after sbs album.

anyway sabbath totally get lost with the last album, 1-2 interesting track in T.E. , i guess sabotage back in yhe days rules coz the doom sound of megalomania, and trash metal sound you find in symptom of the universe. metallica and so many others had their success based on symptom of the universe. anyway sbs has been their very last high peak.

  • alright. lol

it's a matter of personal taste. i like the albums before SBS. SBS is also not bad, but i'm more into their blues doom sound. and sheavy is more blues than metal, so i think it was fine to say that sheavy is what BS lost with SBS. i never wanted to mean this negative. sbs is more metal, i was a metalhead back at the days, and in those days i also liked sbs more.

  • Holy shit, I am a super hard core Sabbath fan, and man oh man, these guys are fucking great!!

Think I found a great new (old band) to listen to!!!!

  • "Sheavy is best described as the doppelganger of Black Sabbath"

so true, but still a great sound

  • Sweet, some home grown heaviness, that riff is gold.

  • Damn at first I thought this was Black Sabbath, but any true Sabbath fan would know it's not. Damn these guys would be hell of a cover band of Sabbath. Very Good Voice & Guitars! Sound Great.

  • Don't get me wrong i love these guys, but doesn't he sound a bit like smeegle from lord of the rings

it's like ozzy's and smeegle's long lost bastard child

  • listen..i know u guys are ripping off Black sabbath, however, wow, u do it so well. I mean im speechless how well ur guitar player sounds like tony and not just your ozzy delivery on vocals,,u have the 70's topical style that ozzy would have...well done!!

  • You pass young grasshopper...

  • Hey for the hardcore Sheavy fans, which albums do u recommend if i recently got into these guys? I heard electric sleep was the best

  • Does the singer have downs syndrome? hes a stoner.. lmao they all look that way.. KILLER song... FUCK YEAH!

  • okay you try it than smart ass!

  • omg! ive spent years thinking this was an unreliesed sabbath song :O

  • is this what st.vitus would sound like with ozzy

  • Go Newfoundland!

  • Check out Witchcraft's 'Hey Doctor' for another song that sounds like 1973 Sabbath.

  • Most played song on my mp3 player, so awesome...

  • anyone who plays heavy music has got to be influenced by sabbath, but these guys took it a bit too far... yet the music is sooo damn good i found myself playing it over and over ! it s going straight to my favourites!

  • How and the hell did they take it to far? Every band sounds like their influences. That guy is just blessed to sound like Ozzy.

  • you ve got a point there, and i agree with u. if it sounds like sabbath it sounds good

  • These guys are great. They sound a lot like sabbath yes, and are influenced by them, but at least they are doing a lot better job than anyone else, and are keeping the sabbath spirit alive. I mean, at least they dont sound like linkin park.....

  • @Wayouk333 tsk tsk tsk... Linkin Park rocks compared to Fall Out Boy. Screamo is also gay, and that is modern "metal". I can't say Heavy Metal to describe screamo, only "metal". Only a few good bands have emerged since the fall of grunge and rise of emo, BLS, Lamb of God, Mastodon, ect... and these poser "metal"heads today have never heard Sabbath, Metallica, or Iron Maiden. We need to take some initiative, and show those posers real metal. Black Sabbath (the song) is heavier than any breakdown.

  • These guys are great, but anyone who says they dont sound like or are influenced by Sabbath are full of it. They are everything Sabbath is no longer. I still love both.

  • One more time, this is NOT a Sabbath cover!!!

And to call Sheavy unoriginal b/c they're HEAVILY influenced by Sabbath is dumb.

Unoriginal describes modern bands who disguise talent

    w/screaming,turntables&no insrtumental solos;ie,most

every pop-metal band on the scene.

  • This isn't a cover. This is an original by sHeavy. If you listened to them, you'd realise they are one of the most unique bands out there.

  • Despite the fact that it's not a cover, I wouldn't define them as unique. Their sound is very, very close to Black Sabbath!

  • I saw them live about 4 years ago, it was nice.

  • If it isnt a cover... and they are not Sabbath.. then they are unique.. Go look up unique in the dictionary..

  • unique - existing as the only one or as the sole example; single; solitary in type or characteristics

If it isn't a cover, and they are not Sabbath, BUT THEY SOUND LIKE THEM - they ain't unique ;]

  • You're a moron. A true Sabbath fan would know that this isn' a cover, you are thinking of Electric Funeral. Look it up.

  • when are they going to stop pretending they are sabbath and create something original?

  • omg! napster and mp3 tags are an ingenious thing

    cyberspace in 1972??

    hilarious

  • Yeah no cyberspace in '72.Sabbath did 'Electric Funeral' and there is a sabbath worshipping band called 'Electric Wizard'.

  • @rensq dam napster i download my first song with that XD

  • "well, pardon my french, but who the hell is Sheavy and why the hell do you guys compare this dude with Ozzy?"

    1. sHeavy is a great rock band.

    2. They compare the vocalist with Ozzy, OMG, guess why? Come on? It's a fucking Sabbath song they're singing, idiot.

    Electric Sleep.

  • These guys actually sound BETTER than Sabbath did in 1975! LOL

  • well, pardon my french, but who the hell is Sheavy and why the hell do you guys compare this dude with Ozzy?

  • I don't think people remember what the old,70's ozzy sounded like, sheavy has it spot on!

  • Hell Yeah...thanks Ren...keep it up

  • sHEAVY!

  • Great band, thanks so much for uploading this video!

  • SHEAVY OWNS. So does Skull! :0)

  • It's metal,man.

  • awesome!

  • sheavy rule. end of story.

  • The Ozzy comparrisons are so old and stale now. He rules!

  • He sounds like a terrible version of ozzy

  • listen to the actual song and youll notice he does sound like ozzy

  • sHEAVY is the shit.
