  • She will be retired in OUR next election when the country is broke and true patriots will then rise from the ashes.

  • this country is fucked. why? look at the 2 party system that has been in power for the last 100 years.

  • you people are going to get free health care weather you like it or not so shut the hell up and get a life

  • Rightwingers want GREEDY CEO'S TO CONTROL THEIR ENTIRE LIVES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Capitalist health care is a SCAM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Everything about this situation, from the politicians, to the people responding to the situation and talking about the protesters, has this horrible and deafening tendency to expose our political system for what it is; a house of cards made to destroy the lives of those people who simply don't want to allow extensive government integration with their lives. Compromise has never, and will never be an option, so dialogue is out the window.

  • It's interesting that, to so called "conservatives", Single Payer is "extensive government integration..." yet the PATRIOT ACT AND Homeland "Security" remain unquestioned.

  • yeah "move it outside" when there are dozens of dimwits outside who can not act civil. Do they not realize how long it would take to "move it outside" ? The place was set up in a room with limited capacity. Therefore "first come, first serve" you snooze you lose. Making all those outside Losers

  • move it outside

  • I am telling ya, revoltuion is brewing. Come 2010, Congress is getting cleaned. No one will be re-elected

  • Boycott Union made products.

  • 2010 is going to be an interesting election year. I am very curious to see just how many LIBS are swept out. That will help in putting a leash in this LIBERAL administration.

  • "Libertarians" are hilarious. It would be great if there was a "Libertarian" party would actually run serious candidates for congress, president, governor, state legislature, etc. But they don't. Why? Because they are and always will be Republicans, who like their radio masters, sanctimoniously shout how "Libertarian" they are until the election when they vote for Bush, Cheney, Palin, McCain, Romney, Gingrich, and other Republicans who have absolutely no interest in limiting government.

  • Libertarians are not Republicans. Libertarians believe in small government, and freedom, something America was founded on. Republicans believe in theocracy and censorship, and the greatest expansion of government was under the Bush administration. Libertarians are the ones who are actually fighting to destroy this deranged liberal government that is turning the United States into the next Soviet Union. Libertarians are the only people left who care about small government.

  • And there will never be an effective Libertarian party in this country because for all of this grand talk about founding principles and freedom and small government and on and on and on, you and 90 percent of those like you will get suckered into voting for "conservative" Republicans in this election and the next and next and the next. For god's sake, you people actually believe Beck and Hannity and Limbaugh when they say they're not Republicans, but "Libertarians" and "conservatives". Bull.

  • LOL. Beck and Hannity are not Libertarians. Beck may try to be, but Hannity is definitely not, and no intelligent person would ever let somebody on FOX tell them what to do. And I did not vote for Bush or Obama, because there is no way I would let my vote go towards somebody who would destroy the country. Ron Paul was the right choice for America, but unfortunately, the ignorant masses decided to gear all their attention towards the messiah Obama.

  • Oh sure, Ron Paul. And Ron Paul was in what party? The Republican. And he ran in which primary? The Republican. And he was mocked and ridiculed by which candidates? Republican candidates. And he was voted against overwhelmingly by what voters? Republican voters. And despite all of this, Ron Paul remains to this very day in which party? The Republican Party. Why? Because Libertarians are insincere preachy moralizers and will always will be, until they stop supporting Republicans.

  • But of course, that's all President Obama's fault.

  • Libertarians are not moralizers, and you are providing no evidence to support your claims. And not to mention, the Libertarian party is small. Ron Paul did the right thing by making himself noticeable by joining the Republican party. And I'd much rather that he aligned himself with them rather than the Democrats.

  • The Libertarian Party will always be a joke because instead of doing something to build the party the so-called "Libertarians" would rather be a part of a big party that uses them when it's convenient, then mocks them when it's election time. And the contrived tea bag parties and the 9/12 "movement" are walking definitions of moralizing (commenting on issues of right and wrong, typically with an unfounded air of superiority) such as declaring they are the "true" defenders of the constitution.

  • Again, you're showing a complete lack of knowledge here. Libertarians have more in common with Republicans, so why is it such a shock to you that somebody like Ron Paul would use them as a platform?

  • I'm saying that all of these people who claim that they are Libertarians are not Libertarians because if they were Libertarians they would be working to establish a party called (surprise!) the Libertarian Party as a real party. But they don't, because when the chips are down they will always sell out and support the corrupt GOP, just like Ron Paul did and is STILL doing. It's not a "shock" to me at all. It would be a shock if he left the GOP and ran as a Libertarian, which he will never do.

  • What the hell self-respecting Libertarian would listen to Hannity, Beck, or Limbaugh? More over, what self-respecting Libertarian would vote for some stupid shill who talks the talk on the campaign trail, but obviously doesn't substantiate their rhetorical weaving with anything meaningful? Even Obama said the free market is the greatest tool ever invented for allocating resources efficiently. I seriously doubt many L's voted for him, though.
