Well you could use programs like Windows Movie Maker or Sony Vegas.

I used to use Windows Movie Maker, but this one was made with Sony Vegas Pro 8.0

i get my clips from youtube uploads of episodes. i download them and convert the file format from flv to wmv. [you can do that with different programs, just google it and you'll have tons of choices]
