oh my days, everything she says is something i have thought or has really annoyed me in the past. The thing about men using woman as goods to trade in the past, that still goes on in parts of the world. it makes me so angry.

She is better than she ever was!! I hate that.. my sister also said she isnt as good as she was... She still makes me shake in my bootz.. I'm off to see her this tour season.. I'm shakin in my bootz!
Everyone keeps talking about how they miss her. How she used to be. But she's in her 40s now. I'll love her no matter how much she changes. We all have to change. She's still like that, it's just that she's more mature and more reserved. She gets better every year I listen to her. She will always be that Tori - if you really love her like you say you do.
I hear ya. Tori has changed a bit, but I like her just the same. I really liked her during the years of Boys For Pele, but as I said, I still love her just the same and it's cool to see her expand and try different things/styles of music. She's got me interested in playing piano too. Tori rocks! =)
You know, I agree with you on some level, but I'm rather confused with the person she's become. I don't understand the things she's saying anymore and it bugs me. She was a really different individual from 1992-1996. That's the Tori I fell in love with. I think miscarriage changed her a lot. She had two of those, didn't she?
In an interview she mentioned that having a child has changed her music a lot. Pre-Tash she was self-focused as a musician would be, but post-Tash she couldnt be 100% absorbed into herself, she had her daughter and the world to look at. Dont remember the interview, but its on here (with a guy CNBC I think).

@sillyanniegirl yeah that's why i know it's awful but there is a part of me that wants her husband to leave her and her daughter to die tragicly and i'd love to hear the music from the awful madness that would ensue ... she would be so so amazing. but i do wish the best for her.... i guess... lol
It's obvious she would have gone through changes with age, tragedy and motherhood. She's still an excellent performer, and she still amazes me with her views and stories, in both interviews and in her music.

part of the reason pianos are great, you can play a HUGE range of songs. and tori made pianos even more lovely than they already were.

Ok this is a little freaky. I just saw the first part of this YESTERDAY... which you uploaded quite a while ago I believe.
Now I get parts two and three today... just before I leave to go see her on the "Late Late Show" here in L.A.
And she's talking here about stuff that is prevelant on her new CD, like foreshadowing...
I need to pull myself together. Near tears. Mess. lol
