goto the person you want to give a diff. ringtone, then select edit. scroll to the bottom...then select ringtone for that person. choose which one you want. back out, and it will save it.

That's right! This is the basic way of having individual music ringtones. It's nowhere on the net. As soon as I got my MyTouch 3G phone, I figured it out! But that trick was mad cool man! I would never thought of something like that would happen!

I'm just giving my opinion...I think you will enjoy this much better. The blackberries don't even measure up.. Blackberry phones can not even be customized..I know, I have nearly all of them. I like blackberry phones, but this device is the ultimate.

yeah i love my blackberry and i had my eye on a google android for along time but i dont like the G1 too big and heavy when i held it. but soon as i seen the mytouch i wanted it. but yeah it looks like a phone i would enjoy alot more then my blackberry and hopefully android will get some better games soon

unmount your sd card, put it in your pc or just plug your phone in. drop them in the music folder. if you don't see one...create one in lower caps. when you create folders on your phone, always use lower caps.

my friend has this lil green motorola W490 that looks like a razor but it's thinner width wise, (a T-mobile phone), but anyway it does the ringtones that are set for the individuals for the calls and the texts. I figured it wouldn't but I just wanted to make sure

okay, but Can it play the same ringtone for each individual caller when they send you a text message also?

You have to set your sounds for text to do that...just go into your text, hit menu. Then select what you want. But I don't think you can have a diff. sound for each person when they text you...only one default sound for text. I will try it...
