Russia's Finance Minister, Alexei Kudrin forced out over Putin deal

Medvedev and Kudrin, never saw eye to eye. Kudrin worked very well with Putin, but Putin won't say anything at this point so not to undermine Medvedev's authority.

Kudrin was voted Europe's best Finance Minister and did A LOT for Russian financial stability. So, it's a big loss!

But Medvedev felt personally insulted by his comment. It happens - politicians are only human.

And all these stupid comments about Russia being oppressive is total bullshit. Look into your own backyard first.

According to the Economist, Kudrin was rejecting a rather insane $66 billion dollar military finance plan. He was also puting Russian oil money in a sort of rainy day CD. Looks like an honest politician just got pwned by an oppressive regime.
